Acer Predator Helios 18 AI and Nitro 16 ship with RTX 50 series GPUs

Acer announced its Predator Helios 18 AI and Nitro 16 gaming laptops, both running NVIDIA's RTX 50 series mobile GPUs. The Helios 18 AI is the flagship model, while the Nitro 16 becomes Acer's first gaming laptop to pack AMD's Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor with 3D V-Cache.
Both machines ship with Windows 11 and three months of PC Game Pass. The RTX 50 series mobile chips are built on NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture. No pricing or exact release dates yet.
The Nitro 16's X3D chip is the real story here. 3D V-Cache gave desktop gamers a noticeable bump in frame-time consistency, especially in open-world games. If AMD's mobile implementation holds up, this could be the first sub-$2K laptop that doesn't choke on Tarkov's Streets map.
