Fan mod brings DLSS 4.5 and multi-frame generation to AMD Radeon GPUs

Daniel Blanco's DLSS-NR on AMD mod hit Alpha 0.8.0 on October 17, bringing nearly the full DLSS feature set to Radeon cards. The package includes DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution (both M and L models), Ray Reconstruction (Model F), and Frame Generation with up to 4x multi-frame generation in games that expose DLSS FG inputs. FSR 4.1.1 is bundled so you're not waiting on driver updates.

The project started in September with DLSS 5 Neural Rendering support and has been adding features fast. Blanco posted a 74% performance jump in one test build between releases. Multi-frame generation is the real pull here — it's the same tech NVIDIA gates behind the RTX 50-series, and now it's running on RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 cards through a wrapper.

This is messy software. You're injecting third-party DLLs into game processes, which means anticheat risk and zero official support. But if you're stuck on a Radeon card and want DLSS-level reconstruction or MFG without buying into Blackwell, it's the only option that isn't FSR. Performance will vary — DLSS models are tuned for NVIDIA's tensor cores, not AMD's AI accelerators.

If you're curious whether your card can handle it, run a playbook on BetterFPS and check your baseline frame times before you start layering mods.
