Asus $10,850 bundle is now the cheapest way to buy an RTX 5090

Asus's 20th-anniversary bundle is going for $10,850, and according to Tom's Hardware, that's currently the cheapest way to get an RTX 5090. The bundle includes Nvidia's 32GB flagship GPU, a 3000W power supply, an X870E motherboard, and an open-frame case. Scalpers are listing bare 5090 cards north of $11,000.

This is what happens when supply can't keep up with launch demand. The RTX 5090 has been out of stock at most retailers since launch, and resale prices have climbed past MSRP by thousands. Asus apparently had enough stock to bundle a full high-end platform, but not enough standalone cards to sell separately at anything resembling sane pricing.

The bundle itself is overkill: a 3000W PSU is two to three times what even a 5090 build pulls under load, and X870E is AMD's top chipset for Ryzen 9000. If you already have a modern AM5 or LGA1851 system, you're paying for parts you don't need. But if you're starting from scratch and have $11k burning a hole in your pocket, this is technically the play right now.
