ASUS ROG Swift PG27UCWM and PG32UCWM now available with Tandem RGB OLED

ASUS announced availability of the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM (26.5-inch) and PG32UCWM (31.5-inch), both using 4K Tandem RGB OLED panels with a TrueBlack Glossy coating. The Tandem architecture stacks two OLED emissive layers to push brightness higher and extend panel life compared to single-layer designs.

Both monitors run Dual Mode: 4K at 240Hz or FHD at 480Hz, switchable on the fly. ASUS pairs this with a GaNFET power supply (more efficient than traditional silicon transistors) and an updated OLED Care Pro suite (pixel shift, screen saver triggers, panel refresh scheduling). Dolby Vision is included. No pricing or exact ship date in the press release.

The 480Hz mode is the draw for competitive shooters (Valorant, CS2, Apex), but you're trading resolution for refresh. For single-player AAA or anything that can't push 240fps at 4K, the panel tech upgrade (brighter HDR highlights, less risk of burn-in over 2-3 years) is the real benefit. The 27-inch model will appeal to the density-first crowd; the 32-inch suits couch gaming or anyone who sits farther back.
