DLSS 5 leaks early via NBA 2K27, modders already testing it

DLSS 5 leaked this week through NBA 2K27's early access build. Someone pulled the .dll file and posted it, and modders started injecting it into other games. Nvidia announced DLSS 5 earlier this year with Neural Rendering — a step beyond frame generation that reconstructs parts of the scene instead of just interpolating pixels.

The leak gives PC players their first chance to test Neural Rendering in real games, not just Nvidia's cherry-picked demos. Early reports on Reddit and forums show mixed results: some titles run smoother with DLSS 5 than DLSS 4, others crash or produce visual artifacts. One tester claimed a 12% frame rate bump in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K with Neural Rendering enabled, but also noted flickering on reflective surfaces.

Nvidia hasn't commented on the leak. The official DLSS 5 rollout was supposed to happen later this year with proper driver support and game integration. This leak skips all that — you're running an unfinalized .dll with zero guarantees it's stable or optimized.
