Overwatch skins hit Fortnite with original Tracer pose intact
Epic revives the 2016 Tracer butt pose debate, but nobody's arguing this time

Epic announced an Overwatch crossover for Fortnite, dropping Tracer, Mercy, and Reinhardt skins into the item shop. Tracer's bundle includes the "Over the Shoulder" victory pose — the same one Blizzard removed from Overwatch in 2016 after players said it reduced her to a pin-up.
The original pose sparked a forum argument about sexualization versus character consistency. Blizzard replaced it with a different pin-up pose (one that referenced a '40s cheesecake poster) and the conversation died. Now it's back, unchanged, in a game with 100 million monthly players.
This is odd more than meaningful. Fortnite has always been a grab-bag of pop culture with zero curation for context. Still, it's funny that a pose deemed too horny for a T-rated hero shooter in 2016 passes without comment in a T-rated battle royale in 2025. Times change. Or Epic doesn't care.
