Grand Theft Auto VI confirms November 19 launch, marketing starts this summer

Rockstar Games confirmed today that Grand Theft Auto VI is still hitting its November 19, 2025 release date on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Gematsu. The studio also announced a summer marketing rollout for the title.

No PC release date was mentioned. Rockstar's typical pattern puts PC versions 12–18 months after console launch, which would land a potential GTA VI PC port somewhere in mid-to-late 2026.

This matters for PC players planning upgrades. If you're building a rig for GTA VI, you've got at least a year before optimization targets are clear. The console specs give a rough floor — expect 1440p/60fps recommended specs at minimum, likely leaning on upscaling tech. GTA V leaned hard on CPU for crowd density and physics. GTA VI will probably do the same, so budget accordingly.
