Infinity Ward got Modern Warfare 4 running on Switch 2 with 'no problems'

Infinity Ward got Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 running on Switch 2 without major hitches, according to studio leadership. VGC reports the team called the port "pretty smooth" and said there were "no problems to report" during development.

This marks the first mainline CoD on Nintendo hardware in years. The studio boss added it's "exciting to be back on a Nintendo platform," though no frame rate or resolution targets were shared.

Switch 2's specs remain unconfirmed, but if a current-gen CoD runs without heavy compromise, that's a win for the portable crowd. Whether it's 60fps docked or 30fps on-the-go will make or break the experience.
