Activision and Infinity Ward released the campaign trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 today, previewing the single-player story ahead of the game's October launch. The trailer shows set pieces and narrative beats but skips technical details — no word yet on engine upgrades, ray tracing support, or baseline hardware targets.

Multiplayer specifics remain vague. Infinity Ward hasn't confirmed how MW4 will fold into Warzone or whether it's a full engine refresh. The studio teased "next-gen performance" in prior press releases, but what that means for minimum specs or DLSS 4 support is anyone's guess until they publish official requirements.

This is the fourth mainline Modern Warfare entry since the 2019 reboot.
