Modern Warfare 4 cover leak points to Korea setting, Switch 2 version
First CoD on Nintendo in 14 years — if the leak holds

A leaked cover for Modern Warfare 4 hit Reddit today, showing Korean lettering and what looks like Seoul. VGC says multiple sources confirm this year's Call of Duty takes place in North and South Korea — a shift from the previous Modern Warfare timeline. The cover also lists Switch 2 as a platform, which would be the first mainline CoD on Nintendo hardware since Black Ops II on Wii U in 2012.
VGC's sources say the game launches this fall on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, and Switch 2. No word yet on cross-play or performance parity between Switch 2 and current-gen consoles. If the Switch 2 version runs at 60fps, that's a big deal for portable CoD players. If it doesn't, expect the usual "30fps is cinematic" discourse.
This is still a leak — Activision hasn't confirmed the setting or the Switch 2 SKU. But VGC has a solid track record on Call of Duty scoops, and the cover art looks polished enough to be real marketing material.
