Modern Warfare 4 on Switch 2 has severe input lag, testing confirms
Switch 2 version adds 80–120ms input delay vs. other platforms

Modern Warfare 4 players on Nintendo Switch 2 are dealing with input lag bad enough to affect win rates. IGN's testing clocked 80–120ms of additional delay compared to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC versions — enough to lose fights you'd otherwise win.
The lag is present in both docked and handheld modes. Frame pacing issues compound the problem: even when the game holds 60fps, inputs feel sluggish and aim corrections arrive late. Cross-play matchmaking puts Switch 2 players in lobbies with console and PC opponents who don't have the handicap.
This is a rough spot for a $300 handheld trying to run a current-gen shooter. The hardware can hit the frame rate target, but the pipeline from controller to screen isn't optimized. Until Activision patches it — if they patch it — competitive players on Switch 2 are starting every gunfight behind.
