NVIDIA drops hotfix driver 610.52 for RTX 40-series G-SYNC issues
Weekend hotfix targets RTX 40-series G-SYNC stutter and monitor detection failures

NVIDIA released GeForce hotfix driver 610.52 over the weekend to fix frame-pacing problems on RTX 40-series GPUs when G-SYNC is active. The update also resolves a bug that prevented some monitors from being detected correctly — they'd show up as "NVIDIA NV-Failsafe" instead of their actual model.
The hotfix targets multi-monitor setups running V-Sync and DLSS Frame Generation together, which had stability issues. Hotfix drivers skip the normal WHQL certification process so NVIDIA can push fixes faster when something breaks.
If you're on an RTX 4070 or higher and run G-SYNC or multiple displays, this is worth installing. The frame-pacing bug could tank your 1% lows even if average FPS looked fine. If you've been seeing stutters after a recent driver update, this is the fix.
Grab the latest hotfix driver from NVIDIA's site and run a fresh playbook on BetterFPS to confirm the stutter's gone.
