NVIDIA marketplace drops RTX 5090 listings entirely
Fastest consumer GPU vanishes from official store after less than a year

NVIDIA's official marketplace has removed all GeForce RTX 5090 listings across the US, Europe, Australia, and Asia, according to TechPowerUp. The card — still the fastest consumer GPU with 32GB GDDR7 — is nowhere to be found on NVIDIA's direct sales channels.
The timing lines up with earlier reports that NVIDIA stopped allocating GB202 silicon to the 5090, reserving the chip for the RTX PRO 6000, a 96GB workstation card. If accurate, that would make the 5090 a short-lived flagship, less than a year into its run.
This is weird. The 5090 was the halo product for Blackwell — killing it this early leaves a gap at the top of the consumer stack. Unless NVIDIA plans a 5090 Ti refresh with a different die, the 5080 becomes the default 4K flagship by elimination, and that card doesn't have the horsepower to justify the step-down.
If you were holding out for 5090 stock to stabilize, check the playbook and see if your current card still hits targets. A used 4090 might be the better move now.
