RTX 5080 Super, 5070 Ti Super, and 5070 Super appear in Seasonic's PSU tool

Seasonic's PSU calculator now lists the RTX 5080 Super, RTX 5070 Ti Super, and RTX 5070 Super — none of which Nvidia has announced. PC Gamer spotted the entries, which suggest the company's planning mid-cycle refreshes for its Blackwell lineup.

The calculator doesn't reveal specs or power draws for the Super models. It's just a dropdown list. But Seasonic typically adds hardware before official launches, not after rumors die down. If these ship, they'd follow the same pattern as the RTX 40-series Super refresh: slightly higher core counts or clocks, same VRAM capacity, maybe $50–$100 price cuts on the base models.

The RTX 5080 already sits in a weird spot — 16GB VRAM, solid 4K performance, but a big gap up to the 5090's 32GB and an even bigger price jump. A Super variant could tighten that spread or push the base 5080 down toward $900. Same logic applies to the 5070 Ti and 5070, which both launched at higher MSRPs than their 40-series predecessors.

No word on timing. Nvidia skipped Ti variants entirely for the 50-series launch, so bringing back both Ti and Super SKUs would be a shift. Could be a response to AMD's RX 9070 XT pricing, or just the usual refresh cadence. Either way, if you're eyeing a 5080 or 5070 Ti right now, this is your cue to wait a month or two.
