Sony confirms big single-player games staying PS5-only, no PC ports
Sony draws a hard line: AAA single-player stays console-only, live-service goes day-and-date

PlayStation CEO Hermen Hulst told GamesRadar+ that Sony's biggest single-player franchises will stay locked to PS5. God of War, The Last of Us, Horizon — don't expect PC ports on day one or even year two.
Sony is still doing PC. Live-service games like Helldivers 2 and the upcoming Fairgame$ will launch simultaneously on both platforms. Multiplayer needs the install base. Single-player doesn't, at least in Sony's math. Hulst says the goal is protecting the console ecosystem while still expanding reach where it makes sense.
This kills the hope that Sony would follow Xbox's cadence. If you want Naughty Dog's next game or the new Spider-Man at launch, you're buying a PS5. PC gamers get crumbs two years later, maybe.
If you're waiting on a PS5 exclusive to hit Steam before upgrading your rig, run a playbook on what you already own instead.
