Valorant cheater banned after viral skin exploit video

Riot Games banned a Valorant cheater who used a modified 'Evil' version of the Tung Tung Tung Sahur skin to run rampant in ranked matches, according to IGN. Video of the hacker wiping entire teams surfaced online and spread fast, prompting questions about how Vanguard — Riot's kernel-level anti-cheat — let the exploit slip through.

The skin itself isn't the cheat. The player appears to have injected visual modifications on top of wallhacks and aimbot, making the spectacle more noticeable. Riot confirmed the ban but didn't detail how the cheat evaded detection or how long the account was active.

This is embarrassing for Vanguard. Kernel-level access is the trade-off players accept for supposedly ironclad protection. When a cheater gets this much air time before getting caught, that trade-off looks worse. The silver lining: at least Riot moved fast once the video hit Reddit.
